it has been a little over a week now, but i feel okay about writing this. it doesn't make it any
easier but it must be said.
sigh. we had to put our family dog to sleep last week. there. i said it.
he was a good little guy.
i am pretty sure he loved me. and i know i loved him.(even though in this picture it truly looks like i have him in a head-lock.)
he will be missed. but his health was failing. and he was old. so i know he isn't hurting anymore.
every time i walk through our front doors i expect to see him running to greet me. it will take some adjustment. and it can only get easier from here.

he was great.
he loved his treats.
he loved going on walks.
he really liked barking at other dogs. and he slept the majority of the day. life was good for the little fella. he was a christmas present for me and the bro in 1996.
