i survived the blizzard of 2.01.11

it was a tough job.
but somebody had to do it.
i did manage to dig my car out. i even went on an excursion to walmart and went sledding with friends.

i also went on a walk to experience all the snow and just to get some fresh air. i was getting a little cabin fever staying inside for that long.
yep, that is me in the snow. here it is probably mid-calf deep but in some parts it is even deeper.
my second snow-day-as-an-adult was a success! but all good things must come to an end and life must go on, so tomorrow i will go to work. they have planned for me going to a different branch for work. luckily this branch is much closer to my house.

what to pack for a blizzard...

...if you get snowed in at work.

-an extra set of clothes
-a blanket
-my phone charger
-a magazine
-my Bible
-a book
-my farkel game(which is amazing!)
-my ipod
-a yogurt
-2 granola bars
-a sandwich
-a banana
-my water bottle
-2 snow scrapers

but you know what? i had to be at work at 8:30am and were closed by 10am. so all of that stuff was pointless, but i was prepared for the worst.

bring on the snow(predicted 18-20 inches)! i will enjoy my first snow day as an adult!

it is...

..SN-OW deep! like for real. i am guessing about 10 inches. which, in my book, is too deep!

but to be honest, it sure is pretty to look at! my favorite is to watch the snow as it falls. the town is just quiet and slow moving. i like that. peaceful.

so take a deep breath of cold man winter. it will be over soon.

with love from the inside of my warm house,
