so today we went out to a little village. this village is where a pastor from a local town is meeting with a group of believers. well, we were going to play games with children at this after school program but the program was called off for the day. we had brought with us a frisbee and a few balls to play with the kiddos. well we were starting to throw the frisbee around and the kids joined as they were walking by but it wasn't really a "game" of frisbee we were just tossing it back and forth. well on one of the many occasions that people would toss the frisbee my way(i rarely caught the darn thing) something happened. i reached to grab it, i touched it, but some how brought it closer to me to land directly on my nose! so i thought that i should take a picture of my nose and show the world. so world, here is a picture of my nose.
do you see the red line at the top of my nose. really close to between the eyes? that is it.

this picture might be able to capture it better.

so moral of the story, do not bring the flying frisbee closer to your face, unless you have a face mask on.

Oh, Amber. You are your mother's daughter.
I think I'll send you a floppy flier. That would not happen with one of those:) - MOM
I have had that happen and know it really hurts! The kids at school had these nice soft, floppy, cloth frisbees, only they aren't called frisbees. I suggest you look for those!
By the way, I couldn't see the pix of "how we roll" when I first checked your blog, either, but now they're up. Guess it takes a while to travel 4,000 or so miles.
