but on the way home, i was able to sit back and enjoy the landscape. goodness. poland is beautiful where i am. there are lakes around here and forests. i tried to take pictures but really these pictures do not do justice as to how pretty it is to me.
i will look at these during the winter after the leaves have fallen and the ground is covered in dirty snow and no sunshine. on this particular day, the sun was shining, the clouds were in perfect shape, the grass was green. it made me fall in love with the area. i have been told that in other areas of poland, it isn't as pretty. so i will enjoy it while i have it and before winter settles in.
again, this day was a gift from the Lord with the landscape. showing His love to us as we were all in some kind of funk. whether the funk was from being tired or drained or sad. we had just said goodbye to friends that some we will not see ever again or some we will not see again until the summer. it was really a great time. fellowship. refreshment. refocus. but super sad to say goodbye. tears were shed by many.

It does look beautiful. Who knew that they had cows in Poland?
