i am keen...

...on my KEENS! so before arriving in poland, i knew that i needed to purchase a good pair if snow boots. so i bought myself some keen boots. and i LOVE them! the only bummer is that the lack of snow the past two winters, i haven't needed to wear them often.

so when it snowed today, i was quick to throw them on as we went about the days business.

this might be one of the last few times that i get to wear them. although, the online weather sites tell us that snow/rain/sleet/slush should be expected for the next several days. so i should be able to wear them a little more before the end of the season.

one of the reasons i like to wear them is because they remind of what an astronaut would wear on a space mission. so they are my moon walkin' shoes!

but in all honesty, i would give up my moon walkin' shoes for the rest of the year if i could have some sunshine. i am in dire need of some sun.

i am ready to hang up the winter coat and store away all of the other winter accessories.
