look out....

...below. you have to keep reading to figure out the title.

i haven't felt like blogging recently. nothing new is going on so what is there to tell you. but we decided to take a saturday excursion yesterday. there is a famous castle about 2 hours away by train so we hopped on one and took off!

the castle is called Malbork and is famous for being the largest in europe. click here and here for more information on the castle. i do not know much information about, sad to say even after touring it.

here is a windy and cold picture of the adventurers. it was very chilly outside!

here is a picture(i know it is hard to see) but you can see that several parts of the castle were destroyed from the war.

and here through the trees you can see parts of it fallen. this might be still from the war that they decided to not rebuild.

just another shot

a different view.

and this might have been my favorite part of the whole tour. this is a toilet that the knights would use. it has a hole(that i my bum is covering) that goes straight down(don't worry, it was covered when i sat down). we read a sign that they would use these toilets as a defense when the enemies were getting too close.
"An interesting part of the Malbork castle is its medieval toilet (latrine). This toilet was so designed, that people that were somehow inconvenient for the castle owners, were made to fall down from it around 25 meters, and kill themselves by the footing of a fortification wall. The remains of these people were then washed out by water from the moat. About the imprisoning system and torture chambers, that also were a vital part of the Malbork castle, there is no need to even mention (especially that now they are not open for tourists)."

click here for more history, especially number 7.

I enjoyed the tour - especially the latrine. I'm glad it was covered and I'm glad we don't do that now:)
Love you!

The outside pix are great, and I love that you're using your time wisely and reading. That's hysterical!
