23 and counting...

here is a picture of me and my BEAUTIFUL friend jenni. (go ahead and make fun of me. i didn't have a picture of me and jenni on my computer so i took a picture of a picture!) but 23 days from today she is getting married! i am so excited for her. she is going to be a beautiful bride, a wonderful wife and a Godly mother(when the time comes!!). i am able to come home and be her wedding. i am honored that she would ask me and want me to be in it.

jenni and i were best friends in high school. we met each other at a retreat for my church(she was not attending this church at the time but came along with her parents) and her parents(my second set of parents!) were leading the retreat. and it was friendship at first sight! the rest is history. after high school came college and we were roommates for a two years in the dorm. i think that we would both say that our friendship was touch and go during that time but it has turned out end!! she went off to springfield to pursue other adventures while i stayed in bolivar to create new adventures.

but we have stayed in touch. even with me being over here in poland. our friendship has grown.

i KNOW that the Lord has put jenni in my life for a reason. she has been such an encouragement to me being overseas and when around her she lights up the room.

josh, you've got yourself a catch. i haven't been able to spend much time with josh and jenni, so when i return to the states in the fall we will have to plan some time to all hang out.

so come may 16th, i will jump on a plane bound for the states(with a few layovers in there). i will be there until the 25th. during that time i will celebrate with my brother on his graduation from college and celebrate with jenni! i am very excited for this little trip.
