2 and 10 are where your hands should be while driving, except when changing gears with the standard.

since being here for the past 17 months, we have learned to drive.  jr. has been a great instructor to us.  so thanks jr!

we know how to keep the car moving, just getting it moving is the hard part without killing it.  we have killed it a few times.  but we haven't hit anything more than a curb.  what would driving be without hitting a curb every now and then?  but this isn't your average standard.  this a big VW van.  

but it is quite liberating to drive again.  its one of my favorite past times; that looks like it might be retiring real soon due to the price of fuel.  maybe i will take up sewing?
