so i thought that i would share several things on here at one time. so here we go:
1. at our meeting, we were asked to bring an item from our country that we would auction off and the money would go to our organization. so i brought this wooden plate that was decorated, and i thought that it was the prettiest thing. but i knew that i would just come back to poland and buy one similar if i really wanted to. on the night of the auction the time had come to bid on the plate(i had already spent all of the money that i had alloted to spend for the auction) so i knew that i wasn't walking away with the plate. but jessica started to bid on it; and got it! AND then, gave it back to me! how great of a friend! so thanks jessica!
2. the people who led worship at our meeting were from nashville. and i lived in the nashville area, i would love to go to their church! but anyways, the worship time was wonderful. it was so sweet to be able to sing to the living God in english.
but....one of the band members is trying to make it into country music. i really liked his music, but i like country music! so check it out: www.paulbogart.com . he did a concert for us. it made me miss home and country music. but also warmed my heart!!
3. and the next point would be a more spiritual matter. i was reading the Word one day last week and started reading psalm 77. the first half of this chapter was the author talking and asking where is God. and the author was troubled. but in verses 10-12, that is what spoke to me:
10 Then I thought, 'To this I will appeal; the years of the right hand of the Most High.'11 I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.12. I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.
the rest of the chapter goes on to talk of the wonders of God. and his hand in the universe. so i thought to myself, i want to recognize God's hand in my life and what i am even doing here in poland. i want to recognize that it was the hand of God that has even gotten me this far. i know that times can be hard, but God can still be found.

Thanks for sharing with us how God spoke to you through His Word. I never ceased to be amazed, if we seek Him, how He speaks to us and draws us back to Him in a very special way. The journey sometimes gets hard and we do not always understand, but always remember that He is Faithful and knows the journey we are on. His hand is always on our shoulders to guide and His loving arms always surround us.
Love you and praying for you,
Patsy
