run, lance, run

so here is the brother. running. and running some more. in the rain nonetheless. this is about the 7 mile marker.

here is mom and dad. in the rain. in the cold. cheering lance on.

(the sign reads, 'go lance'.)

(i think dad's eyes are closed. please forgive him.)

and then here is the champ! he did it!
he made the half marathon in 1 hour and 50 minutes.(in case you didn't know, the half marathon is 13.1 miles.)

not too shabby if you ask me.

and did i mention that it was raining? because it was!
