here is a little lake/pond near us. it was kind of gross still because the clean-up crew hadn't come through yet. when it snows, people just through the trash on the ground so it was still a little trashy here.
this is a sports arena right next door to us. we haven't been there yet but we see it all the time. we aren't really sure what is in there. kind of looks like a flea-market had set up for a few days in there. you might call it more of an expo-center.
so we start our english/bible study tomorrow. we aren't really sure what to expect. i will let you know. be praying for the boldness of students and for hearts that are ready to hear the truth. pray for more students to be reached. we are the pioneers here in olsztyn, the first ones to try something like this. we know that that LORD is going to do big and mighty things here.
today we had to go to the police station and be questioned. they wanted to check our passports to see if we were still legal or if we were "aliens." this was all in polish so our supervisor went with us. the man asked me if i liked it here in poland and i said that i did. and then he asked me if i liked it better here than in the america! that was a loaded question! i just said that it was different than in america.
i am learning a lot about myself and my personality. but i am reminded of in 1 peter 2:9. "but you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare praises of him who called you out of darkness and into his wonderful light." i am His, belonging to Him.
