"we are family...

...i've got all my sisters with me."

one day last week i got a call from someone who was interested in our english conversation/Bible study group. i was giving her the details telling her that we would have english for an hour and then study the Bible. she asked in what little english she knew, "are you a sister?" it took me a second to realize what she was saying so i repeated it and as i was repeating it back to her it dawned on me what she was asking, if i was a nun! i said "no i am not." she didn't show up at the study last night...who knows.

the spring and summer fashions are coming out. we were a little worried that we would stick out with our capri pants, bermuda shorts, and sandals. lets just say that we have little to be worried about. we are starting to see new things with fashion all the time. recently i have noticed all the women wearing tights! sick out! tights with dresses, tights with pants, tights with long skirts, tights with short skirts, tights with shorts, and tights with capris. tights are everywhere!

yesterday we had an interesting experience on public transportation. we got to ride shotgun! the bus was so packed that there was no room to move towards the back so we stayed up front with the driver and cruised with him on the way to our stop. we decided that it probably isn't the best to watch how the driver actually drives; it is better not to know or see.
