what was once different...

...is now normal.  strange, i know.  at first it was all so different and now i don't know any other way. i only realized that this was different when some people were asking about it.

so i wasn't sure if i had told the community of readers and visitors, all the things that are different.

1.  we dry our clothes on a drying rack.  nothing like putting on jeans that feel like sand paper!

2.  my bed.  i can lay it out flat like so.

3.  or up right.  its a couch bed!

4.  my closet is not located in my room.  it is located in the hall way by the front door.  in fact, they do not have closets here.  they have things that look like a shelving units.

5.  and this might be one of my favorites!  do you see the white box on to the left of the door?  well that is the light switch.  it is located outside the bathroom.  so do you know what i do while people are in there?!?!?!?!

I TURN THE LIGHTS OFF ON THEM!(i say them but it is mainly jessica, i just don't want her to feel singled out!)

but every time i do it, it is pure bliss.  this might be something that america might want to consider doing.  it is really a wonderful thing!

but in other news....today is women's day in europe! all of the women are giving flowers or other little gifts.  so all you men...go bye your woman a flower!  celebrate, don't hate.
